Just a update....

Well, I am just getting to posting some christmas pictures. We had a great christmas, Aidan understood a little more about santa this year. We tried to explain that he came on Jesus' birthday but I think next year he will understand it a little more. Josh was off work for two weeks which was really nice. We painted some rooms to get ready for the new carpet upstairs and it looks a lot better up there. I guess everyone knows by now that Aidan will be having a baby brother, he says "baby broder in mommas stonach" all the time. I think he will enjoy him after a while of getting used to him. It will definetely be a change around here!! We got the baby's room painted and I made the curtains for his room already. I learned that you can never get a baby's room ready too early! Hopefully we won't need it until April or May! We are expecting snow tonight, I hope it comes because all Aidan talks about is snowmen. It will be fun to get out in it with him and play. Happy New Year and enjoy the few pictures from christmas!!!

Aidan in December!!!!

Aidan is really loving the Christmas tree's and decor around the house. This year we started the Jesse Advent tree with him and he seems to enjoy putting a ornament on the tree everynight. The only problem is that he likes to pick his own and not what the book tells him. That's ok, he's only 2!!!! We are really excited about Christmas this year since Aidan understands a little more about what is going on. The baby and I are doing good, I have been feeling a little movement lately which is really exciting. I start my 17P shot next week, it is a progesterone shot that helps me not to go into pre-term labor. It last for 14 weeks and I have to drive to Memphis to get it but I think it will be well worth it! I hope everyone is enjoying this cold weather, Aidan sure is. I think he likes getting bundled up and going outside. Merry Christmas, I know I won't post again until after Christmas. I think there will be some good pictures with Aidan and the family this year, since next year he will have to share the attention! Here are a few pictures that I took in attempt of a Christmas card. We got some better ones yesterday, but there are a few cute ones! Enjoy!!!!!

Warm, Sunny Orlando!

We had a great vacation in Orlando. Aidan loved being able to swim! We went to Magic Kingdom one day and to Seaworld two days. Aidan love Mickey and Minnie but not the other characters. We went to see them twice but it was worth the wait. Disney was great, it was not that busy and hardly any wait to get on any rides. Aidan had fun on all the rides and I think Josh enjoyed it too!
We had breakfast with Elmo and friends at Seaworld on saturday and Aidan wasn't too sure about anyone but Elmo! Hope ya'll enjoy the pictures, I think there is a total of 80! Just in case the news isn't out to some, Aidan will be a big brother in May of next year!!! We are really excited and everything is going good so far. Hopefully we can find out what it is by Christmas!!!

Sweet Kaley!

I haven't updated the blog since we went to Luke and Rachel's wedding a week ago in Madison. It was a very sweet and pretty wedding and Aidan enjoyed himself. We also go to meet baby Kaley (Aidan says Kadey), Liza's baby (Josh's sister). I think Aidan really liked her, seemed like he wanted to help a little with feeding her a bottle. After we got home he would act like he was crying like a baby, it was pretty cute! The first picture is of our neighbor Izzy (Aidan calls her Biz), she stayed the night with us while her mom and dad were out of town. Let me just say Aidan loved this, considering he thinks she hung the moon! He really enjoyed Biz reading to him and sometimes he pretends that she is eating dinner with us. Aidan has really been doing well when I drop him off at school and not crying, it makes me feel better. He is also repeating everything and loves Mickey Mouse! That is a good thing since we are going to Seaworld and Disneyworld October 29. We are going to have so much fun! Aidan always says "Mick Mouse hold" which means he wants Mickey Mouse to hold him, we will see if that happens! This weekend our neighborhood is having a fall festival with a parade. The kids can dress up and ride whatever they want and then we are having hotdogs. It's a neat thing, glad they are doing that. Hope everyone has a good week. I hope this rain stops soon!

Hotty Toddy!

We went to the Grove on saturday before the Ole Miss game and Aidan had a blast! It was a little muddy but we wore our boots and walked right through it. I forgot my camera so I took a few pictures of Aidan in his new Rebel attire. We had a visit from our neighbors dog last night "Captain", he got out and our neighbors were not home yet. This was fun, Aidan and Lucy both had a good time with him. We also went to the fair last night, Aidan really enjoyed that too! A new thing that Aidan has started doing is pretending. This morning Aidan sat all of his stuffed animals at the table and needless to say he didn't leave a seat for mommy or daddy so he offered us a seat in the floor! They all got two cheerios as he said "have some moose, huh?" and then he goes onto lay them down and say "thankyou!". It was too cute! We have a birthday party to go to this weekend here in Jonesboro. It's a girl that I met that's from Booneville, Ms. It's at ASU party and I think Aidan is going to have a lot of fun! We are also having pictures made saturday afternoon in southaven, it's the first family picture since Aidan was born. I am so excited! Hope everyone has a great week! Enjoy the pictures!!!!!

Labor day weekend

We had a good relaxing weekend. It was nice just to hang out and have nothing to do. Aidan and I went to Sesame Street Live in Southaven on friday. He enjoyed it but after an hour he was saying car, car, car! So we left and met up with some friends from Hernando for lunch, which Aidan really enjoyed. We put up the "big boy bed" on saturday needless to say the gate we ordered for the top of the stairs came in but the rails for the bed didn't. The rails came in today and I can say that Aidan is asleep right now in his big boy bed! YAY!!!!! Let's hope that it is this easy tonight. He has to take a nap after school because he doesn't take one at school, I'm sure he will start soon. Josh and I are headed to Hardy, Ar this weekend (which is only about 40 minutes from our house) with Adam and Claire for an adult weekend. I know it will be good to catch up with them and sleep later than 6:20! Hope everyone has a great week!!!!!!

A fun afternoon

Here are some pictures from outside this afternoon. Aidan was playing with Izzy (our next door neighbor who is almost 9) and she was making him laugh. He loves her and calls her "Biz". He is doing good at school, the teachers say he is really sweet and listens. Although, he has only taken a nap once out of three days, I know he will get used to their schedule soon. I hate dropping him off because he screams and they have to pull him out of the car as he screams "hold momma". It just breaks my heart but they always come right back out and he has already stopped crying and is playing. Hope everyone has a great labor day weekend. The only plans we have are setting up the "big boy" bed and watching the REBELS play! Hotty Toddy!
